Story
A TV adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross. In episode 2, Cross tells Sampson that he smells like «mothballs and old spice.» In real life, Isaiah Mustafa starred in the great Old Spice commercials as «the guy your husband could smell like.» I don’t know what to tell you.
Except for Eggold, they all felt amateurish
I had high hopes, thinking it would be a smart Reacher or something. Being a fan of Freeman and even Perry’s iteration, this was a huge letdown.
Hodge gets a 2 out of 10, either he’s angry or angry when he thinks hard
I never got the feeling that Cross was anywhere near a PhD in psychology, easily triggered, rash and immature. The ending makes no sense because they could choose to accuse the bad guy of one or 11 murders, even if he’s willing to confess, just to make him lose in whatever hell game he’s in.
Badly miscast, overacted, and every twist and turn is visible from a mile away
Hard pass. PS I just remembered the soundtrack that instantly pulls you out of everything you barely started to feel.
