Yang), Fatty (Ronny Chieng), and Carl (Chau Long) watch Detective Lana Lee (Chloe Bennet) on TV and discuss her possible ethnicity: Carl states, “she looks like a ‘Thai woman,’ while Fatty states, “Dude, she’s obviously Korean. Get to know your Asians.” In fact, Bennet is the son of a white woman and a Chinese father. Early in her acting career, she changed her last name from Wang to Bennet (her father’s name) after encountering acting agents who told her they couldn’t cast her as Asian or Asian American characters, but her name prevented her from being considered for any white characters…
I need a second season
Ok, I’m like the guy who casually watches TV and comes here to check out trivia and some reviews. I never thought I’d have to come here and do a review, but for this show I’m happy. This is a show for people who are more like Rick and Morty because if you look at it from afar it will seem like total chaos and no plot, but if you try to look and look for the little things in the direction, dialogue, and choice of music you’ll probably see the brilliance that has been done in this show.
All I ask for is more marketing so people can watch it
