Story
Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I really liked this series, I watched the whole thing in two days. I couldn’t pick one character that stood out, the actors all do a fantastic job. I thought their facial expressions and dialogue delivery really brought the story. As a fan of the 80s, the setting, clothing and of course the use of music was a fantastic bonus. The timing of certain songs was perfect. For me, the erotic scenes could have been less explicit, that’s why I give it 9 stars instead of 10. I really hope there is a new season, I can’t wait to see it!
